About Warminster PA (Zip Code: 18974)

A large borough located on the western edge of Bucks County, Warminster is a prominent segment of the the county defined by a storied history, a bustling economy, and scenic locales. Founded as early as 1685, Warminster started as a small farming community with English and Scotch-Irish residents. Much of its past was steeped in farming the culture and economy, though this changed with the opening of the nearby Naval Air Warfare Center which operated from WWII to 1996, at which time it closed. This base changed the cultural face of Warminster, turning it into a highly-populated residential area with a number of small businesses serving the community. As of the 2010 census, Warminster was home to 32,682 individuals with a median household income of $54,375.
